Referral Process
Our agency accepts community service referrals directly from the Department of Juvenile Justice and law enforcement. The goal is that through participation in the program, youth will have a better understanding of the impact of their actions but also learning more about the community and giving back.
Steps in the Referral Process:
1. Identify youth needing or benefiting from community service as a result of an incident or offense.
2. Complete a JCPC referral form identifying the nature of the offense and requested number of hours.
  • Law Enforcement Referred = no more than 20 hours of community service.
  • Diverted Youth = no more than 20 hours of community service/Up to $300 in restitution.
  • Juvenile Court Referred = Up to 100 hours of community service/Up to $500 in restitution.
3. Fax or mail the referral to the Program Coordinator. Please attach the police report/brief summary of the incident. Email: tpjones3@ncsu.edu Fax: 919-603-0268, Mail: P.O. Box 926 Oxford, NC 27565
